  4. In this final section, we wil discuss the Global System Commands. Global
  5. commands are those which operate throughout the system, no matter where you may
  6. be. The global commands are as follows:

  8. H - Help
  9. Q - Quit to a subsystem
  10. X - Expert mode
  11. ? - Display the current section menu
  12.  
  13. Each commmand will be discussed in detail in the following sections.

  26. subsystem you are currently using

  28. {C4Q{C0)uit:  A "Q" command allows you to end your S)ession and log off or move
  29. among the four main RBBS-PC subsystems:
  30.    MAIN - communications.  Messaging system
  31.    FILE - for exchanging files
  32.    UTIL - other functions, like changing your password
  33.    LIBR - libraries of files
  34. Within a C)onference or "sub-board" you can quit and return to the main
  35. message base.

  37. {C4X{C0)pert: RBBS-PC menus are available in novice and expert modes. The novice mode
  38. provides descriptors of the commands in a menu. The expert mode provides only
  39. the first letter of each command. Simply press the "X" key to alternate or
  40. toggle between X)pert and Novice modes.
