- Dear Fellow Computerist:
-
- Thank you for taking the time to download this latest edition, version
- 1.2, of PC-Label.
-
- As is the case with all good software, a lot of time, effort, thought,
- and energy went into the development of PC-Label. I would therefore like to
- believe that version 1.2 is a "perfect" implementation of PC-Label, but you
- know as well as I that there is always one more bug lurking in the deep, dark
- recesses of the computer code, grinning a foolish grin, waiting for the right
- opportunity to jump out and bite some poor, unsuspecting user.
-
- Please let me know if you find this bug. I will reward you with an
- exterminated copy of PC-Label.
-
- The next release of PC-Label will provide you with a way to embed
- printer control codes within each line of every label. You will be able
- to vary the fonts, line and character spacing on a per-line basis, instead
- of on a per-label basis as provided for in version 1.2.
-
- Feel free to inform me of your suggestions, ideas, and criticisms
- regarding PC-Label. Your input helps to keep PC-Label the best all-purpose
- label processor available... and don't forget that you can freely copy and
- distribute PC-Label to other computer users free of charge.
-
- Special thanks to Karl Swensson (you know who you are) for the
- "color"-ful remarks, and to everyone who has given their support to PC-Label.
-
- Sincerely,
-
-
