  21.         This is a sample letter to demonstrate the printing capabilities 
  22.         of LETRHEAD.  If this file name is specified as option 8 in the 
  23.         data file variables menu and option 2 is toggled to 'Yes' in the 
  24.         letterhead variable menu, then this text will print after the 
  25.         logo.

  27.         Another way to print letterhead and this text would be to 
  28.         use the batch command facility.  At the DOS prompt simply enter 
  29.         the command:

  31.         letrhead l letrhead.txt
  32.  
  33.         This will print the logo, letterhead and this text file 
  34.         regardless of the options set.  
  35.  
  36.         If this were a two or more page letter, the logo and letterhead 
  37.         would be printed on only the first page.

  40.         options.

  82.         This second letter is to demonstrate the !!Letrhead!! command.  
  83.         This command can be embedded in the text and will cause the logo 
  84.         and letterhead to be reprinted, followed by the text of the 
  85.         second (or succeeding) letters.  The word 'letrhead' in this 
  86.         command must be all upper or all lower case. A page break should 
  87.         immediately proceed the !!Letrhead!! code for proper spacing in 
  88.         the word processor and in the letrhead program.

  90.         Envelopes may also be printed from this file.  The command:
  91.  
  92.         letrhead e letrhead.txt
  93.  
  94.         will request that an envelope be positioned at the back edge of 
  95.         the printer platen.  When the Enter key is pressed, the envelope 
  96.         will be fed into the printer, and the logo, return address, and 
  97.         mailing address will be printed.  The program searches the first 
  98.         35 lines of the text for something that looks like an address.  
  99.         Most of the time it is successful but check the results closely.
  100.         It does not guarantee to find the address perfectly each time.

  102.         To print these two letters followed by two envelopes, at the DOS 
  103.         prompt, enter the command:

  105.         letrhead l letrhead.txt e letrhead.txt
  106.  
  107.         Give it a try on this text file.
  108.  
  109.         Remember, these same commands are available from within the 
  110.         program as well, using the menus and setting the necessary 
  111.         options.  Try different combinations and experiment.
