  1.                     LQ800/1000 FONTS
  2.                  -----------------------
  3. These fonts were developed for an Epson LQ800/1000
  4. attached to an Amiga, but seem to work fine in the
  5. DOS environment.  To load a font, simply 
  6.  
  7.       >COPY   <fontname>  prn
  8.  
  9. and wait for a couple of seconds while the font is
  10. transmitted to the LQ.  From then on, the printer will
  11. print everything in the requested font until you reset
  12. the printer, turn it off, or load a different font.

  14. I have adapted the Amiga command file to print out a
  15. demo of the fonts called LISTFONT.BAT.  Just execute it
  16. to get an idea of the variety of the fonts available.
  17. I left the original Amiga names (some > 8 characters) in
  18. the document as an aid in identifying each font's characteristics.
