  6.      You can now register your Powernode via VISA/MC from the
  7.      Bytebrothers Support Door on DataWarp BBS in Broken Arrow
  8.      Oklahoma. This is also the support board for Eric Cockrell's
  9.      EZReader program for Interlink/Relaynet mail doors.

  11.      Registration for Powernode is $10, $20 for two free upgrades.
  12.      Please register the program if you use it.

  18.      Please have your VISA/MC card number and expiration date. A
  19.      door selection from the main menu will take you directly into
  20.      the Bytebrother's registration door. Comments are appreciated,
  21.      and are accepted inside the door.

  24.      Elliot Jackson's enhancement to the Bytebrothers patented
  25.      "Drunkman Download System", DRUNKCUT is included with Powernode
  26.      to allow you to run a tsr that will capture filenames from your
  27.      screen when online to a bbs, and automatically append them to
  28.      your bimodem transfer set. Just install and activate via
  29.      alt-tab and you can tag files directly off the screen when
  30.      online to the bbs system, and they will automatically be added
  31.      to your bimodem download request that you start with Powernode.
  32.      Since the routine is tsr it is available at any time with any
  33.      com program anywhere.

  39.      Revision i adds full support for the new PUMA transfer protocol
  40.      by Matt Thomas the author of Lynx. This is an exciting
  41.      protocol. It is fast, colorful, and handles high speed modems
  42.      with great speed and grace. Puma single file uploads, batch
  43.      uploads, and batch/single downloads are fully supported. And
  44.      the file transfer sets you program with the [C] option from the
  45.      main menu are totally compatible with the Puma protocol. The
  46.      Puma command line is brought into the PNODE.CFG file so if you
  47.      want to customize your puma installation just edit the .CFG file.

  49.      Full support is now added for Ymodem-G, including the same
  50.      batch upload ability provided for the other power protocols
  51.      thru the [C]reate option in the main menu. And the programming
  52.      of upload filesets.

  54.      MobyTurbo is supported with a switch that toggles it on or off.
  55.      The switch will stay set until you manually reset it again. And
  56.      the MobyTurbo status is always displayed on the Transfer
  57.      Protocol menu window. Enabling MobyTurbo enables it not only in
  58.      the upload/download windows, but also in the [S]hell to DSZ
  59.      option from the main menu. MobyTurbo is fully supported in the
  60.      DSZ shell. MobyTurbo is an enhancement to DSZ-90 the new DSZ
  61.      Zmodem release and is available in DSZ releases after 01/22/90.
  62.      If you use an earlier version do not enable MobyTurbo since DSZ
  63.      doesn't know what the hell to do with the command and will
  64.      squawk at you.

  66.      Support has been added to trigger Peter Norton's Disk Sort
  67.      utility from the transfer window, on the upload directory. Or
  68.      any directory you want to specify. Merely place DS.EXE form the
  69.      Norton Utilities in the directory with Powernode and the [S]ort
  70.      option will automagically appear on the screen in the Protocol
  71.      Window. The Norton Utilities (tm) is commercial software owned
  72.      and sold by Peter Norton and available at computer software
  73.      stores across the country.

  75.      In like manner inserting Gordon Haff's excellent Directory
  76.      Freedom DF.COM in the directory with Powernode will change the
  77.      old [F]iledir prompt at the main menu into [F] Directory
  78.      Freedom. Directory Freedom is an excellent little file
  79.      management system, that in point of fact blows away the
  80.      internal system in Boyan, or any other com program. And it's
  81.      one keystroke away from Powernode. When done in Freedom by
  82.      hitting escape you are returned to Powernode's main menu.
  83.      Directory Freedom is available as DF302.ZIP on bbs systems and
  84.      is Shareware. And Gordon deserves the modest registration.

  86.      Crater Rim's Jmodem Batch has been dropped since it is still
  87.      screwed up on every board I can find except the authors. It's
  88.      awesome watching a batch transfer when the second file comes up
  89.      listed as 498 meg in size, and you seem to remember it was only
  90.      18k in the file listing.

  92.      47 other substantial changes have been made to the program in
  93.      this revision that I won't elaborate on. It has been tested
  94.      extensively with 14.4k modems and 38k locked ports and fine
  95.      tuned for performance with fast iron and fire modems.
