- Non Terminate & Stay Resident Four Function Calculator
-
- Ver. 7.5
-
- Use the numeric keypad for entry, along with the +, -, .,
- and the = sign for total. The "c" key will clear all
- entries. The "e" key functions as a clear entry key
- and will clear a just entered number and the display the
- previous entry or the previous result. The <enter> key
- also functions as a total key for ease of use.
-
- The number lock will be turned on for you so that one
- can begin use on the numeric keypad directly. A version
- is included that will work properly with an enhanced
- keyboard. It simply does not turn on the number lock.
- It is called CALC75-EN.EXE
-
- I also turned off the irritating cursor during calculator
- use, and back on afterwards. The exit key is Esc.
-
- The calculator can be moved around the screen, to
- allow one to view numbers under the calculator. The
- movement is effected by holding down the shift key and
- then pressing the right or left cursor keys. On the
- enhanced keyboard, use the seperate cursor pad.
-
- The most recent modifications to this program include
- the entension of decimal precision to nine digits and
- a more attractive onscreen calculator metaphor.
-
- This is a PUBLIC DOMAIN program. Feel free to share it
- with anyone. You may upload it to your preferred BBS's.
- Always distribute the entire ARC file or all of the
- contents of the ARC file including this document.
-
- Look for an updated version of the RESIDENT calculator
- under the name FFC48.ARC
-
- Turbo Pascal programmers who would like to build a calculator
- such as this into their own applications should download the
- file CALCTP.ARC from CompuServe or CALCTPU.ARC from GEnie and
- various BBS's around the U.S. This file contains the needed
- code to build the calculator into an application with full
- control of the colors, keyboard type, and wait for retrace
- to reduce snow on some systems. The source is available from
- me for $60.00. The calculator engine is in a UNIT file for TP4
- and is an INCLUDE file for TP3. Contact me directly for CALCTPU
- .ARC if you cannot locate it.
-
- Enjoy!
