  1. The NEW command gives you a listing of those subboards that contain new 
  2. messages, ie. any messages posted after the most recent message that you've 
  3. read on that sub. You are then prompted for the desired subboard letter; 
  4. upon entering the sub, you will receive a scan of the new messages.  You 
  5. can automatically begin reading the messages by responding with a 'Y' to 
  6. the "Read new messages now" query.
