  1. The SYSOP command, which is only executable by users with access level 254
  2. or 255, allows you to change and maintain various aspects of the bulletin
  3. board. Sysop displays a prompt with four options:

  5. [M]ail, [O]ptions, [T]extEdit, [E]xtended ?
  6.  
  7.      [M]ail allows you to inquire into the mailbox of a specific user. You
  8. are prompted for the user's name, after which you are transferred to the
  9. MAIL command prompt, where you can execute any MAIL operation on the
  10. specific user's account. Note that if you read a user's mail, the "times
  11. read" indicator is not incremented.

  13.      [O]ptions is similar to [M]ail but it allows you to change and inquire
  14. into a user's stats and options. In addition to the regular options, you can
  15. change a user's access levels and time limit with this command.

  17.      [T]extedit gives you a way to edit short text files directly using the
  18. system's text editor. You can edit files up to 250 lines long; notice that
  19. lines longer than 75 characters are handled by appending a "_" continuation
  20. character to the end of the line. [T]extedit gives you the option to create
  21. a new file, too.

  23.      [E]xtended is the command that runs the "extended sysop" menu, which
  24. contains a host of commands relating to BBS maintenance. For a full

  26. to get more information.
