  18. What to do first

  21. At the DOS prompt, type SCRDOC.  You will see instructions
  22. telling you how to create the documentation file.

  25. Troubleshooting
  26. ---------------

  28. If you don't get the expected result, perhaps there is an error.
  29. Look for the following error messages:
  30.  
  31. Out of memory.
  32.  
  33.      This means you must remove some resident software from
  34.      memory.  Try rebooting, perhaps from the DOS distribution
  35.      diskette, and then try deSCRNCHing again.  You need at least
  36.      140K available to run SCRDOC.
  37.  
  38. Bad copy.
  39.  
  40.      This means your copy of SCRDOC.COM has an error in it. You
  41.      should obtain a new copy.
  42.  
  43. Error writing.
  44.  
  45.      Perhaps there is a problem with the disk drive or media
  46.      you're writing to.  Narrow down the problem by using other
  47.      programs (e.g. the DOS COPY command) to attempt to write to
  48.      the same disk.
  49.  
  50. Disk full.
  51.  
  52.      You'll have to clear away some space, and then try
  53.      deSCRNCHing again.  If you're using a floppy disk, be sure
  54.      it is formatted properly.
