- To run the Ada LRM Reader, type LRM.
-
- The first thing that you will see on your display is the
- following:
- Welcome to the Ada LRM Reader. Please be patient
- during initialization.
-
- If the next question that you see is:
- Do you want windows with borders, or without borders?
- If you are accessing this system at slower than 4800
- baud, your screen will update much faster without
- borders.
-
- Do you want borders (y/n) ?
- You must answer y or n, and strike [RETURN].
- You are using the version of the Ada LRM Reader that does
- not require you to strike [RETURN] when replying to most
- prompts. You only need to strike [RETURN] in response to
- these prompts:
- Do you want borders (y/n) ?
- Enter chapter, please:
- section:
- paragraph:
- Chapter nn Section nn Paragraph nn is not a valid
- reference. Please try again.
- So, respond to all other prompts with a single keystroke.
- If you didn't see the question "Do you want borders (y/n)
- ?", you must strike [RETURN] when you answer every prompt.

- Next, the welcome screen appears on your monitor. Press
- [RETURN] to leave the welcome screen.

- A short explanation screen appears. Press [RETURN] to leave
- this screen.
-
- If you are using the version of this software that removes
- most of the need for striking the [RETURN] key when
- responding to prompts, then, to leave the welcome screen or
- the short explanation screen, you may press any single
- keystroke, or you may wait 6 seconds for that screen to
- disappear.

- The main menu appears:

- 2. TABLE OF CONTENTS
- 3. CHAPTER REFERENCES
- 4. ANNEXES OR APPENDICES
- 5. POSTSCRIPTS
- 6. CREDITS
- 7. EXIT

- To exit from the main menu, Press 7, E, or Q.

- From the main menu, you may choose to view screenfuls of
- Foreword, Table of Contents, Postscripts, or Credits, or go
- to the sub-menus for Chapter References or Annexes.
