  5. The compilation copyright of the SimTel Software Repository was done to
  6. protect the collection against commercial exploitation.  Several on-line
  7. services had indicated they might take it over.  There was also some
  8. concern that one CD-ROM vendor might try to shut out the other vendors.

  10. Coast to Coast Telecommunications' policy is that all CD-ROM vendors
  11. will have an equal chance to offer the collection through non-exclusive
  12. re-distribution agreements.
