  2. To Run the Software: ---------------------------------------------
  3.   (1) Create a directory for software and unzip it into it.(2) Read
  4.   this file. (3) Type vsample to view the sample menu & read manuals.
  5. The software package consists of:
  6.  -README.TXT  - This file;  -FILE_ID.DIZ - Identification file;
  7.  -WHATZIT.CMO - popupfile;  -VMENU.EXE  - the file for YOUR menu;
  8.  -VAREAD.EXE, TXT -utility; -VSAMPLE.EXE - sample menu(separate from
  9.   the VMENU menu so you can design your own without overwriting it)
  10.   -CFG.MEU - the configuration file for the sample magazine only
  11.   -VMENUBLD.EXE,VMNUBLD2.EXE-the menu builder software to create custom
  12.   config files, construct your own menu and display your own files.
  13.   -VFPROC.EXE  -  file compression/encoding utility, to protect files 
  14.   against casual tampering;  -UPD*.CMO - six "history" updates
  15.   -HOW_TO.CMO  - the encoded manual for the menu builder;
  16.   -HOWTOAPX.CMO - DOS appendix; -MANUAL.CMO - display software manual;
  17.   -VDISPLAY.EXE - the display software to read .txt and encoded files.
  18.   -VSAMPLE2.EXE,VMENU2.EXE,VMASC.ZIP,BACKG.MEU - additional files
  19.   -PLUS! A number of .CMO and .EXE files comprising a complete demo!
  20. NOTE! Free distribution of this software is permitted as 
  21. long as the complete package is unaltered and nothing deleted!
