  4. University of Vaasa, Finland, Linux Pentium garbo.uwasa.fi has a
  5. large collection of PD and shareware PC programs available by
  6. anonymous FTP, WWW (World Wide Web) and mail server. The file
  7. /pc/ts/0news-ts contains news about the TS-programs in the /pc/ts
  8. directory (in reverse order). This text, which you now have, is an
  9. extract from the 0news-ts file and the Usenet news.

  17. Wed 1-Nov-95: I have updated my public collection of gif labels for
  18. WWW users to use on their home pages. I added 85 new images bringing
  19. the total up to 296. I have also updated many of the images by
  20. making the background transparent where applicable. This improvement
  21. often makes a much more professional-looking touch. My thanks to
  22. Hannu Hirvonen for helping me with the technique required. The
