  27. O.K. , here's the deal:
  28. Many hours have been spent on the design and programming of the ShowText system.
  29. (This is an understatement :-).  Every command has been carefully tested,
  30. HOWEVER Spencer Technologies/Garry Spencer and any operating principals of the
  31. company are not liable for the use of this software.
  32.  
  33. Upon receipt of your registration fee, you will be sent the latest REGISTERED
  34. version of ShowText.  The REGISTERED version will be in a sealed package.
  35. EACH diskette is checked for readability before shipping!  When the REGISTERED
  36. version is opened and the seal is broken, it is yours to keep. No refunds.
  37. If the diskette is damaged in transit, you may return the diskette (at your
  38. own expense within 2 weeks). You will receive another diskette, but no refund.
  39. This will be done only once per registration.  We apologize to the honest 
  40. users, but some dishonest users would abuse a return-for-refund policy :-(

  42. You will be issued a unique registration code which entitles you to technical
  43. support (up to three requests by MAIL only).  This explains why the registration
  44. fee is so low, compared to other packages costing much more.
  45. Please consider the cost of duplication, handling, postage, TAXE$, pizza etc.
