  7. FundRaiser Basic is a VERY easy to learn and use donor management
  8. program that is designed for small non-profits and those new to
  9. fundraising and/or computers.

  11. Here are the tools you need to fundraise like a real professional.
  12. In one simple and easy session, you can record donations, make
  13. address changes, code donors, print timely thank you letters and
  14. labels (with the built-in word processor), and print a deposit
  15. report - all without having to leave the program!

  17. Targeted mailings are a snap, as are the impressive and useful
  18. reports.

  20. FundRaiser Basic sports an easy-to-use (yet powerful) importing
  21. facility, so you can move your existing mailing list right into
  22. FundRaiser Basic, without having to re-enter everything.

  24. This newest version adds exporting capabilities, a new merge 
  25. function for an end-of-year letter, some report changes, automatic
  26. integrity checking of your data, and a pop-up calculator.

  32. Minimum Requirements:
  33.   Any PC with 510k of available RAM, with DOS 3.1 or higher.

  35.   (OS/2 is also acceptable, but you must start the program by 
  36.         typing:  FRB  /D  instead of just  FRB )

  40. FundRaiser Basic requires no special installation.

  42. However, it is suggested that it be placed in its own directory named
  43. \FRB.  A batch file has been provided to do that for you.  To run the
  44. batch file, type:  INSTALL  and then press Enter.

  46. To start the program, 
  47.  1) change to the FRB directory:  CD \FRB  and press Enter
  48.  2) start the program:            FRB      and press Enter
  49.  
  50. NOTE:  when you first start FundRaiser Basic, it will check your
  51.        CONFIG.SYS boot file to make sure there are enough file 
  52.        handles specified and will offer to make a change for you 
  53.        if necessary. (FILES=22)
