  130. This is "try before you buy" software.  This means that
  131. unregistered copies of Chaosoft products may be used only for a
  132. limited time, with the sole purpose of determining wherether they
  133. suit your needs.  To continue using the software beyong the
  134. evaluation period, an appropriate license for continued use must
  135. be purchased.

  137. Registered (licensed) versions of Chaosoft products are
  138. distributed by and available from Pik a Program, Inc.  Please *do
  139. not* send your orders to Chaosoft, since Chaosoft no longer
  140. processes the orders directly.  *All* orders for the software, as
  141. well as questions about the status of shipment of your order,
  142. refunds, registration options, volume discounts and site licenses,
  143. must be directed to Pik a Program, Inc., *not* to Chaosoft.

  172. ChaoSoft products are licensed on the 'per-user', not a
  173. 'per-computer' basis.  This means that you may purchase a single
  174. individual license and install the software on more than one
  175. computer (for example, a desktop system and a notebook), provided
  176. that there is *no possibility* to use the Registered Copy by
  177. anybody else.

  179. On the other hand, if more than one person uses a computer, every
  180. such user must purchase an individual license for continued use of
  181. the software, or a site license for the total number of users
  182. accessing the computer must be obtained.

  184. If you are ordering the software for use by multiple users in a
  185. network, you don't need to include every computer attached to the
  186. network in your license, but you must include every computer on
  187. which the Program is installed or used, regardless of whether the
  188. user of the computer happens to know that the Program is in use on
  189. their system.  If you have single computers which allow multiple
  190. users to use the Program simultaneously, you must count each
  191. keyboard or terminal separately when determining how many computers
  192. are using the Program.

  213. File Manager StepUp (or FM StepUp) is a utility that improves File
  214. Manager dramatically.  Instead of replacing File Manager, FM StepUp
  215. simply makes it better.  When you install FMStepUp, additional
  216. commands are added to the menus of the File Manager, and existing
  217. commands are enhanced.

  318. File Manager Guard (or, for short, FM Guard) is a powerful utility
  319. for Microsoft(R) Windows(tm) 3.1, 3.11, and Windows for Workgroups
  320. (tm) 3.11, that allows one to selectively disable features and
  321. capabilities of File Manager and some other Windows components.

  323. You will find FM Guard indispensable if you share you computer
  324. with someone else and you don't want the other one to mess your
  325. system up (even if s/he is someone very special!). Or, if you
  326. allow your kids to play games on your system from time to time,
  327. and want to be sure that everything will be OK when they finish
  328. them. Or if you are a network administrator and your users give you
  329. a headache messing the files up all the time. Or ...

  331. After installing FM Guard, you will be able to prevent user(s)
  332. from performing any or all commands of File Manager, from running
  333. undesirable programs, browsing hidden files, changing file
  334. attributes, etc. FM Guard allows you to select which drives should
  335. NOT be accessible via File Manager and Common Dialogs ('Open',
  336. 'Save As', etc.). It even provides you with the possibility to
