  8. as far as I know it is totally fine to distribute it freely.
  9. The original archive has been unpacked and repacked as an lha from:
  10. ftp://ftp.idsoftware.com/idstuff/doom/doom-1.8.wad.gz
  11. and renamed to doom1.wad for it to work.
