  6. Hello dear SinED-amiga users!!

  8. My military service is over and the development of SinED continues!! That's
  9. right, I decided to increase the version number because of the many major
  10. things since last version. Take a look at the list and enjoy... Keep the
  11. registrations coming. Support quality software.

  13. It has now been a long time since the last version of SinED has been released.
  14. This is totally because after my military service I've started to rewrite
  15. the core of SinED. My todo list now reminds me only about internal virtual
  16. memory. I decided to make this update before it.

  18. NOTE:     · As revision number indicates (.00, that is...) SinED may contain
  19.        new and fantastic bugs. Report suspicious behaviour to me!
  20.      · Prefs file version has changed. Delete the old prefs file!
  21.      · Volume scale doesn't actually work. Until I solve this, samples
  22.        play a bit poorly.

  25. Main changes from V1.30:
  26. ------------------------
  27.     MAJOR:
  28.      · Loading routines rewritten. No more wasting memory for nothing.
  29.        Progress meter is now attached in it, too.
  30.      · SinED now launches from workbench normally. My startup code was
  31.        actually buggy as hell. :P~ Anyway, now fixed.
  32.      · Added a parameter parser. Currently following parameters are
  33.        supported: (More will follow.)
  34.         - FILE        : Samplefilename to be loaded after startup.
  35.         - PUBSCREEN   : Name of the PubScreen SinED is wanted to open on.
  36.        Normal cli commandline applies as well as tooltypes.
  37.        USAGE: FILE/K,PUBSCREEN/K.
  38.      · If you zoomed in and cut too much of the sample dropping rangelen
  39.        to zero, the machine would crash. Now fixed.
  40.      · Reordered the 'Edit' -menu and added a new and needed feature
  41.        'Range All', 'Range half', 'Show all' and 'Clear all'
  42.      · Compiled a 060 version. It does not has any checks yet so don't
  43.        play with it unless you have a 060 CPU.

  45.     MINOR:
  46.      · Progress meters update now more frequently.
  47.      · If a gadget is in OFF -state, it will no longer be trashed with
  48.        other graphics. 
  49.      · Fixed in FileRequester:
  50.         - Doesn't lose the filename anymore.
  51.         - Uses user defined pattern in pattern gadget.
  52.           Default: "#?.(iff|aiff|wav|raw)"
  53.         - Has separate Load and Save -modes. In Save-mode you cannot
  54.           for example use doubleclick feature anymore.
  55.      · Sample loader didn't check for unsupported samples correctly.
  56.        Especially WAV's didn't work. Now fixed.
  57.      · Proportional gadgets seemed to have more or less problems.
  58.        Especially in Playsample and SampleDisplay -windows'. Should be
  59.        fixed now.
  60.      · Volume scale changed from 0-65535 to 0-255.
  61.      · Save and Edit routines optimized a bit.
  62.      · FPU version of SinED didn't check for 020+ CPU although it was
  63.        required. Now fixed.
  64.      · Save selector and option windows weren't font sensitive. Now Fixed.
  65.      · Made new icons for SinED. They look awful, could somebody help
  66.        me with these??
