  8.   NEXT is a fast and compact text viewer written in assembly. It displays all
  9.   kinds of files including binaries, XPK- or powerpacked files and archives
  10.   (LhA,LZX,ZIP,GZIP). NEXT can also be used to unpack whole archives or a
  11.   number of selected files to a directory of your choice.

  13.   AmigaGuide files are displayed as hypertext by default but can also be
  14.   converted to readable ANSI text. Pictures can be viewed on own screen by
  15.   means of datatypes. OS 3.0 or higher is required in this case.

  17.   NEXT has efficient functions for loading, analysing and printing texts,
  18.   some of them are completely new and not available in other text viewers.
  19.   Search routines are very fast and display all matches at once on display.
  20.   Search can be started in the usual way or by a mouse click on the word
  21.   to be searched.
