  1. Either the name RTEKSPAD.ZIP or the version including
  2. name, eg RTKSP102.ZIP, can be used at the sysops or
  3. distributor's discretion.

  5. Anyone distributing R-Tek Scratchpad for any kind of
  6. remuneration must first contact R-Tek Software at the
  7. address below for authorization.  This authorization will
  8. be automatically granted to distributors recognized by the
  9. Association of Shareware Professionals as adhering to its
  10. guidelines for shareware distributors, and such
  11. distributors may begin offering R-Tek Scratchpad
  12. immediately. (However, R-Tek Software must still be
  13. advised so that the distributor can be kept up-to-date
  14. with the latest version of R-Tek Scratchpad.)

  20. In all cases, distributors must identify the software as
  21. shareware and explain the term shareware so that users
  22. know the software is copyrighted and that an additional
  23. fee must be paid if they use it.  This explanation must be
  24. displayed so that all distribution disk buyers have the
  25. opportunity to read it.

  27. Distributors must stop distributing copies of the R-Tek
  28. Scratchpad upon written notification from the author.

  30. None of the files that comprise R-Tek Scratchpad may be
  31. modified in any way and must all be distributed together.
  32. R-Tek Scratchpad is not to be distributed with any
  33. additional file or files that modify or eliminate its
  34. built-in shareware nuisance registration incentives.

  38. additional details.

  40. Registered users will receive the current version of the
  41. R-Tek Scratchpad on a 3.5" HD diskette that will include a 
  42. key file to remove the nuisance registration incentives.
  43. The key file will continue to function with any
  44. maintenance updates to the scratchpad until its next major
  45. revision. Users may also order the optional ($5) quick
  46. reference guide to the scratchpad (a 36 page booklet).
