Hi All,
This release of the PCI hardware lists will be the last one that deals
exclusively with OS/2 2.1/2.11. From here on out, with Warp hitting the
shelves, I'd like to do a few things, most specifically to the video
list. For starters, I'd like to completely re-organize it. Many cards
now have full support under OS/2 3.0, and I'd like to re-work the
list to reflect that fact. Given this, then, I'd like to have the
following questions answered:
1) Do you have a PCI-based video card? (Any type will do, really, but
PCI would be best.)
2) Are you running Warp GA?
3) What do you think of the video support?
4) What would you like to see improved?
5) What problems have you had installing?
Be as specific as you can be, and I'll include all information you send
in my video list (given your permission, of course).
I'd like the questions above (or at least similar ones) answered for
motherboards and SCSI controllers too. The good? The bad? The ugly?
Let me know of all your experiences and I'll include them in the lists.
I'd like, at this point, to thank everyone so far for the many
contributions of comments, and the (not-so-occasional) compliment I've
received about these lists. Granted, I compiled the information, but
it's all of you who contributed most of it and made the list what it is
today. Let's keep it up for Warp!
