Dear Software Developer,
Universal Software Key is looking for a few good software companies to implement
in their software our patent pending invention, the Universal Software Key
Binding Process. What is it? Or better yet, what can it do for you?
With this new invention and the implementation of it in your software, the
following two things are possible:
[1] Software can be rented at video rental stores just like VHS movies and game
cartridges, but renters of such software cannot make illegal working copies
due to the software execution control implemented through the USK invention.
This allows you to sell many thousands of copies to video rental stores very
quickly, and at the same time widely advertising it to the public and
allowing them to try it out before purchasing - a big advantage over other
software programs that are not rented.
[2] Software can be freely distributed through any medium at any time to as many
people as desired, but such software cannot execute without proper
authorization due to the software execution control implemented through the
USK invention.
This allows you to distribute your software directly to the public, anywhere
in the world through phone lines. Such software can in turn, be copied and
re-distributed to anyone else as well.
We will be putting our invention to work in three phases:
[1] In the first phase, the software will initially only be rented at video
rental stores.
[2] In the second phase, the software will be sold as well as rented through
video rental stores or other retail outlets.
[3] In the third phase, the software can be sold directly from software
developers.
We are looking for a couple of software developers to implement our invention in
their software. Such software will then be market-place tested in one to three
video rental stores, with eventual distribution to all other video rental stores
and the general public soon after the testing.
We hope that you'll be one of the first software developers to work with us on
this very exciting technological advancement of software distribution.
Eventually, not only software games can be distributed this way, but also
software based interactive movies, books, magazines, and newspapers.
What do you need to get started? Using the instructions found in the USK
documentation, purchase the SentinelSuperPro Developers Kit $30 from Rainbow
Technologies at 1-800-852-8569, select one or more programs you'd like to
implement the invention in, program in your software locks, then fill out and
mail to us the software developer application form. We will contact you soon
after receiving it to give you instructions on where to upload your program's
instruction files and how to distribute your software. If you have any
questions, please give me a call at 214-692-8335.
Sincerely,
John Willsey
