  1. Type Test is a game that tests your typing ability. The object 
  2. is to find as many keys as you can in 90 seconds.

  12. NOTE: TYPEREG.DAT will create itself the first time you use Type
  13. Test. It should be in the same directory as the program file. If a
  14. TYPEREG.DAT came with this copy, please delete it.

  16. How to play

  19. To play Type Test, press the "Start New Game" button from the 
  20. game window. The timer will start. A large red charater will 
  21. appear in the black box. The object is to type it EXACTLY. When 
  22. you press that key, a new one will appear in the box.

  25. NOTES:
  26. If you should press a wrong key there is no penalty, but the clock 
  27. will be ticking.

  29. Beware of "look-alike" keys. Example: The upper case "I" may look 
  30. like a lower case "l". If you should get one of these, try one, 
  31. then if that does not work, try the other.
  32.  
  33. A lower case letter is not the same as an upper case letter. 
  34. Example: If the letter is "C", "c" will not be counted as right.
  35.  
  36. If the box seems blank, it is probally because the charater is 
  37. a space. Press the space bar, get a right answer and move on.

  40. This will continue for 90 seconds. During the last 10 seconds, 
  41. the timer will turn red to warn you that time is almost up. 
  42. After time is up, a comment will appear.

  47. Type Test is shareware. If you like it enough to keep it, 
  48. register it. Registration includes a personal code to customize 
  49. your copy of Type Test to show your name. It will also disable 
  50. the registartion screen so that you can reach the game screen 
  51. directly.
