  If you received The Tracker Utilities on a floppy disk, you will not have
enough free space on the disk to extract most of the self-extracting archives.
Copy the desired utility onto a blank diskette and then extract the program(s).
If you downloaded The Tracker Utilities, make sure that you have at least 300k
of free disk space before unarchiving The Graph Tracker.

  To unarchive The Graph Tracker, type:  GRAPH  at the DOS prompt and press
[ENTER].  Then to install The Graph Tracker, type:  GRAINST  at the DOS prompt
and press [ENTER].

PLEASE NOTE:  You may need to copy the  GRAPH.EXE  archive onto a blank
diskette.  There may not be enough free space on the distribution diskette to
unarchive it.  This may also be true of other Tracker Utilities.

  All of the files on The Tracker Utilities disk, except for PKUNZIP.EXE, are
self-extracting archives.  When executed they will uncompress several files
onto your disk.  The programs and their use are as follows.

  [ THE GRAPH TRACKER, VERSION 2.6, WILL ONLY WORK WITH VERSION 3.6 OF THE ]
  [ MUTUAL FUND TRACKER & VERSION 7.1 OF THE WALL STREET TRACKER.  IF YOU  ]
  [ ARE USING PRIOR VERSIONS OF THE TRACKER PROGRAMS, YOU CANNOT USE THIS  ]
  [ VERSION OF THE GRAPH TRACKER UNLESS YOU UPGRADE THE TRACKER PROGRAMS.  ]

GRAPH.EXE       This is The Fantastic Graph Tracker Program.  The Graph Tracker
is a point and shoot menu system that will run both The Wall Street Tracker and
The Mutual Fund Tracker programs.  After each operation it returns you to a
Command Center.  It will also view graph pictures saved on disk by The Wall
Street and Mutual Fund Tracker programs.  It will sort the graph pictures by
name or date allowing you to view years and years of graphed data with just the
touch of a button, any time you want, color or black and white, it's only
limited by the capacity of your computer!  Includes documentation.


 [ ALL OTHER TRACKER UTILITIES WILL WORK WITH VERSION 3.5 THROUGH 3.6 OF THE ]
 [ MUTUAL FUND TRACKER & VERSION 7.0 THROUGH 7.1 OF THE WALL STREET TRACKER. ]

IMPORTER.EXE #  The Historical Data Importer for The Wall Street Tracker and
The Mutual Fund Tracker.  These programs import historical data downloaded
from FNN, Prodigy, or TC2000.  They are straight forward and instructions have
been placed before each question.  Includes documentation and the FNN version
of The Historical Data Importer only.

  Any historical stock, fund, or index data in a DATE,HIGH,LOW,CLOSE,VOL
type format can be imported into The Wall Street Tracker or The Mutual Fund
Tracker.  Currently we support historical quotes gotten from: FNN, Prodigy,
and TC2000.

  FNN is a supplier of historical data in these formats and you can contact
them by calling [phone] [Voice] or [phone] [Modem].  Many users
have said that FNN is the most economical supplier of historical data that they
had found.  If your historical data file contains something different, or if
you need further help, please contact Keith at [phone] so that we can
customize the program for you.

  The Historical Data Importer is the only Tracker Utility that requires that
you have a registered version of The Wall Street Tracker or The Mutual Fund
Tracker before it will operate.


CFGEDIT.EXE #   This contains The Configuration Editors for The Wall Street
Tracker and The Mutual Fund Tracker.  If you change computer equipment or
upgrade your system, these handy programs will allow you to change the
Tracker programs to adapt to your new set up.  The Configuration Editor is
straight forward and easy to use.  Includes documentation.


SHIFTER.EXE #   This archive holds The Data Shifter.  There is one for each
program.  The Data Shifter will allow you to customize data sets, copy stocks
or funds from one data set to another, change the order of your stocks, plus
much more.  Includes documentation.


MFCACAL.EXE #   The Mutual Fund Composite Average Calculator.  If you download
quotes from Prodigy, CompuServe, America Online, or use Stock-Watch, this
program will automatically calculate and show you The Mutual Fund Composite
Average used by The Mutual Fund Tracker.  When BUY and SELL signals get close
to triggering a trade, you can easily see what The Mutual Composite Average is,
automatically.  Includes documentation.


PKUNZIP.EXE *   This program will unarchive The Wall Street Tracker and The
Mutual Fund Tracker, up-to-date data files, and most other files with a ZIP
extension.  It is used, when you buy a subscription, to unarchive the up-to-
date data files which you can download each week.  The up-to-date data files
are archived, or ZIPed up, to allow you to download one file instead of having
to download up to twenty one files at a time.

The usage is as follows:  PKUNZIP -O WSTDATA5  or  PKUNZIP -O MFTDATA5

  When the commands above are typed at the DOS prompt, and the WSTDATA5.ZIP
or MFTDATA5.ZIP files are in the same directory as PKUNZIP.EXE, the up-to-date
data files for each Tracker program will be unarchived or uncompressed.


* Denotes a shareware program by another author.  Registration of their product
  is encouraged.  See their registration form(s) on your disk.

# Denotes that because of disk space consideration, this program may or may
  not be distributed on The Tracker Utilities disk.  While these programs are
  part of The Tracker Utilities, you may need to call Keith's Little Software
  Shop at [phone] [USRobotics HST] or [phone] [V.32bis] to
  download your copy.
