  6. COMPRESS.EXE

  8. SetupBuilder provides the facility to compress files before they are placed
  9. on your installation suite disks. In order to use this facility, the
  10. Microsoft COMPRESS.EXE program is required. This is not supplied with
  11. SetupBuilder, but you will probably already have it as part of Visual Basic
  12. or DOS.
  13. In order for SetupBuilder to use COMPRESS.EXE, COMPRESS.EXE must be in the
  14. SetupBuilder directory, your Windows directory or a directory pointed to by
  15. the PATH statement in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file.

  18. If you have downloaded this software from a bulletin board such as
  19. Compuserve it would have been compressed using PKZIP. You should use
  20. PKUNZIP to uncompress the .ZIP file onto a floppy diskette. In this way
  21. you will create yourself a ready-made install/deinstall disk which you can
  22. use straight away to install the software automatically onto your hard
  23. disk and/or copy/distribute to other users.
