  21. Congratulations! You have requested the file that makes it easy for a
  22. Network Coordinator (NC), Region Coordinator (RC), and/or Zone
  23. Coordinator (ZC) to issue a new node (system) a node number.  All you
  24. have to do with MAKEREQ.EXE is type the file name MAKEREQ and press
  25. enter.

  27. Enter the information the program asks for. When you are done
  28. the program will make a file with the extension of .APP. This file is
  29. what the NC, RC or ZC needs to issue you a node number.
  30.  
  31. BBS systems and points off BBS systems that have an interest in Safety
  32. are invited to join one of the fastest growing Networks dealing with
  33. Police, EMS, Fire, Medical, OSHA areas. You may ask why join another
  34. Network. We go way beyond what FIDO offers. We in SAF-Net push for
  35. QUALITY postings not QUANTITY.

  46. SAF-Net does not have to have quantity to stay on the backbone. We have
  47. our own Network. If you have users or you post in FIRENET, EMS, CRASH 
  48. or SAR in FIDO you need to join this Network. We have taken the Network 
  49. to international status with Canada joining in from several provinces as
  50. well as the UK and Australia.

  52. Attached is the file called SAFNET.ZIP it tells you all about the Safety
  53. Network (SAF-Net(sm)) and it has the file REQUEST.EXE included. We are
  54. working on many things to enhance the network. To apply for a node number 
  55. simply execute the file named REQUEST and send the APP text file back to 
  56. one of these systems that is the Region Coordinator for your area:

  59. local system that you can apply to.
