  19. All of the features implemented in Release 3 have been a direct
  20. result of our users.  Your suggestions and ideas help up provide
  21. the best culinary software available on the market.

  23. Conversion Kits are now available with Version 3. These special
  24. utilites easily converts other cook book recipes into Recipe Box
  25. Database Format.

  33. - Increased Number of Measurements
  34.  
  35.         The number of standard measurements have been increased
  36.         from 52 to 60, with the addition of:

  43. - Customize your own Measurements
  44.  
  45.         An additional 15 measurements can be added to the
  46.         measurement list, bringing the total to 75.

  48.         These custom measurements are kept in the configuration
  49.         file used by Recipe Box.  You may add any measurement
  50.         up to 8 characters long.

  58. - Faster Transfer of Recipes

  60.         Depending on the transfer rate of your hard drive, an
  61.         increase of up to 30% may be achieved.

  64. - Custom Report Heading

  66.         You can customize you printed recipes with you name as
  67.         part of the report header.  Up to 30 characters may be
  68.         used.  Some examples are:

  75. - Quick Find Recipe List

  77.         Press the "?" key to display a text search window, and
  78.         enter the first word (or letters) of a recipe name.  The
  79.         list window will display the respective recipe.

  81.         Up to 21 characters can be entered for the search.

  84. - Enhanced Recipe List Features

  86.         *  <Shift + letter> combination  will display the first
  87.            recipe name starting with the respective letter.

  89.         *  Page Up & Page Down keys will scroll a full window.

  94.         The line length of the Ingredients has been increased
  95.         from 47 to 67 characters.  The increase will help prevent
  96.         long lines from being truncated after formatting.

  98.         The line size of the Shopping List has also been modified
  99.         to accept the long Ingredients line length.

  102. - Increased number of lines for Preparation
  103.  
  104.         The number of lines available to enter Preparation text
  105.         has been increased from 75 to 150.  This enhancements
  106.         permits handling those bigger recipes requiring extra
  107.         verbiage.

  110. - End of line Warning bell for Ingredients
  111.  
  112.         The Ingredients editor has been enhanced to ring a bell
  113.         at the end of the line as a reminder.

  120. Many of our users have requested conversion utilites to easily
  121. convert other cook book formats into Recipe Box database format.

  123. These Conversion Kits are now available for:

  130. The conversion requires 5 steps:
  131.  
  132.        1. Obtain ASCII text file of recipes
  133.        2. Run appropriate conversion utility
  134.        3. Edit/Review the new text file
  135.           (Recipe Box format)
  136.        4. Run CONVERT.EXE to generate database
  137.           (free utility to registered users)
  138.        5. Use the new database as a separated cook book
  139.           -or-
  140.           Transfer recipes to the main book
