  7.      PAF Review contains descriptive information about shareware and freeware
  8.      utilities  that  work with versions 2.xx of the Personal Ancestral File.
  9.      Except  for  a  list of utilities for the Apple MacIntosh version of PAF
  10.      contained  in  file  PAFRV.DES,  PAF  Review  relates only to the IBM PC
  11.      version.   PAF  is published by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
  12.      Saints  and  is widely used by genealogical researchers.  The version of
  13.      PAF  Review  described  by  this  file  is the "Cumulative" version.  It
  14.      completely  supersedes  all  previous  editions  and  contains  complete
  15.      information on all programs and files covered by edition 94.4.

  17.      To  create the individual files that make up PAF Review, run the program
  18.      INSTALL.EXE.   It  creates the other files in a hard disk directory that
  19.      you  select.   INSTALL first verifies that there is enough space - about
  20.      925kb  of  disk space for this edition.  This number doesn't include the
  21.      installation programs but if space is tight you can readily install from
  22.      a  floppy  disk.   Once  the install is complete, you no longer need the
  23.      files named INSTALL.EXE, INSTALL.LZH, README and FILE_ID.DIZ.

  25.      After  installation  you can browse, search or print any of the included
  26.      material using the program PAFREV.EXE.  There are no parameters required
  27.      and  the  PAF Review files are assumed to be in the current directory by
  28.      default.   Type  PAFREV  /H for information on optional parameters.  For
  29.      instructions on how to use PAFREV, use the built-in help by pressing the
  30.      F1  function key or by pressing ALT H at any point.  PAFREV includes the
  31.      ability to look at any individual file, to print a single file, to print
  32.      all files, and to search for files containing a short piece of text that
  33.      you  specify.   The text files in PAF Review can be also be displayed on
  34.      your monitor or printed using other utilities or commands.

  36.      PLEASE  NOTE:   Files  in  PAF Review end with a page eject character to
  37.      allow unattended printing via the DOS copy command.  If you print with a
  38.      program  that adds an eject at the end of each document, such as the DOS
  39.      PRINT command, you will have a blank page between each file.
