  14. The  Christian Distribution Network (CDN)  is a legal corporation based in the 
  15. State of Louisiana  and organized as a  non-profit organization under the laws 
  16. of the  state of Louisiana.  Donations to the corporation are deductible under 
  17. section 170(c)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code.

  19. The network is comprised of  Christian-based computer  bulletin boards (BBS's) 
  20. in at least a dozen countries  on most continents and in most major electronic 
  21. mail  networks.   CDN is independently affiliated with SDN International  (sm) 
  22. and  shares many of SDN's functions and assets.   The distinction is in  CDN's 
  23. mission.    CDN  files  are carried  on the Fidonet FILEBONE,   the  FamilyNet 
  24. Backbone, and the Planet Connect satellite downlink. 
  25.                                                                           
  26. The  mission of CDN is to provide,  free gratis, the best quality,  Christian-
  27. oriented messaging,  text files and software products (shareware, freeware and 
  28. public domain) to end users.   Each participating SYStem OPerator (SYSOP) pays 
  29. the costs involved  in the  distribution of these materials and  does  so as a 
  30. ministry to  the user.   SYSOPS who want more information  about  joining  CDN 
  31. should acquire the file CDN_KIT4.EXE (or newer).

  33. All  programs  bearing the .SDN extension are received fresh,  complete,   and 
  34. direct  from the author.   They are fully functional (no demo's!).  They  have 
  35. been scanned for viruses and,  after receiving a  clean  report,  are "sealed" 
  36. with  a sort of computer-shrink-wrap called a Security Envelope (also used  by 
  37. the  SDN)  that CANNOT be duplicated once the file has been unarchived and the 
  38. seal is broken.   This envelope can be tested by each end-user with  a utility 
  39. program (distributed on most bbs's) called FILETEST to assure authenticity.

  41. If  you appreciate your Sysop's expense of providing this file,  please send a 
  42. donation to the system where you received the file.   But most of all,  please 
  43. honor  the DEVELOPER's  request  for  donation  or  registration.    Remember, 
  44. shareware only works if you register it.

  48. Send fully-functional  Christian-based  software (or text) on  floppy  with  a 
  49. short  description file and a PRINTED & SIGNED  release document stating  your 
  50. ownership of the program and  CDN's legal right to distribute the files in our 
  51. choice of format.  Also include a statement that your files do not include any 
  52. elements which are illegal or restricted from export to other nations.

  54. If you are searching for some good Christian fellowship, why not dial into one 
  55. of the many QUALITY  Christian-based computer bulletin boards?   If you need a 
  56. list  of  such  boards  and  their telephone  numbers,   look  for  the  file, 
  57. JESUSBBS.Axx (replace the "xx"  part with numbers).  This list is available on 
  58. many bbs's worldwide and is probably available where you found this file.

  61. The BBS's in the JESUSBBS list usually have  dedicated Christian sysops.  They 
  62. carry many Christian resources to aid you in your walk with Christ and to help 
  63. you find peace in your life.   Christian-based message areas are available for 
  64. Bible study, counseling or any of a couple hundred topics.

  90. The CDN Headquarters BBS operates 24 hours a day (the early morning hours have 
  91. VERY limited access times  to  allow the automated transfers of the CDN files) 
  92. at speeds from 1200 to 16,800  bps HST or up to 14,400  bps v.32/bis with full

  97. First-time  callers  have  download  priviledges  and can  read  many  of  the 
  98. Christian   "echo"   conferences.    If  you  have  a  QWK  style  reader  for  
  99. reading/responding  to messages offline,   that is  supported also.  A  "GUEST
