  9.      REQUIREMENTS:
  10.      GetFit requires 640K RAM and color monitor. Mouse not 'required'
  11.      but highly recommended.

  14.      DESCRIPTION:
  15.      GetFit is a program which helps you arrive at a 'Target-Weight'
  16.      based on Sex & height input, then calculates your fat intake &
  17.      calorie intake to reach your goal, and keeps track of daily 
  18.      progress.
  19.  
  20.      NOT intended for use by people with serious obesity and/or
  21.      health problems. Does NOT track sodium or Cholesterol although
  22.      Cholesterol is normally low in low-fat foods.
  23.      
  24.      There is calorie/fat data included for over 300 foods as well as
  25.      data for about 100 activities which burn calories to help you
  26.      calculate your intake and output.
  27.  
  28.      Easy to use (pull-down menu) interface is mouse-oriented and 
  29.      internal help is available for all functions.

  32.      LIMITATIONS:
  33.      Program will not function with users whose weight exceeds 
  34.      500 Lbs. There are also limits on Fat intake per day (999 grams),
  35.      Calorie intake and output (10000) and other numeric data, but
  36.      we feel that these limits are more than sufficient for all but
  37.      VERY rare uses. Program advises when limits are exceeded.

  39.      Any number of users may use the program as it uses a seperate
  40.      data file for each user. A maximum of 500 days may be tracked by
  41.      each data file, and the registered version allows a maximum of
  42.      500 food value entries. You may have any number of data files.

  45.      REGISTRATION:
  46.      Registrants are sent an upgraded version which also offers
  47.      various print options and printing to LPT1, LPT2 or LPT3. Also
  48.      allows Adding/Deleting or Editing the food list up to 800
  49.      entries. It also has hot-key combinations for many functions 
  50.      and other new features and improvements as well as any new
  51.      data we feel is suitable.

  57.      This version adds an option to print a daily food/calorie
  58.      log, so you can keep track of your intake and output during
  59.      the day. Operation is faster in many areas, and many small
  60.      internal improvements have been made for smoother operation.

  62.      Note that there is now a MS-Windows version available.

  66.      INSTALLATION:
  67.      There is an easy to use installation program distributed with 
  68.      GetFit called INSTY. GetFit is a DOS program, but may be run
  69.      from within MS-Windows if desired (Note that we have plans to
  70.      create a genuine Windows version in the near future).

  72.      INSTY should be started from DOS by typing INSTY and will
  73.      make sure that all required files are present and then prompt
  74.      you for the drive/directory to install to and any other
  75.      options.
