  1. Setember 1994                  FX UUCICO                   Version 1.0

  3.   FX UUCICO is an enhanced replacement for WAFFLE UUCICO. It's full
  4.   compatible with WAFFLE. Shorter and faster, still has exciting new
  5.   features available in this release, and many more are on the way.
  6.  
  7.   FX UUCICO may also be used in all packages that support Waffle's one.
  8.   There are plenty of gateways, BBS and FIDO tossers supported. FX can
  9.   also be used in standalone mode for simple uucp transfers.
  10.  
  11.   Documentation is distributed between a main user manual, WHATSNEW lists
  12.   changes and additions from the previous release, FXCONFIG.REF is a full
  13.   reference for all available configuration options, and the tech guide
  14.   discuss advanced topics.

  16.   Additional notes and programs are available from our servers. We have
  17.   an operational server accessible by email or ftp. We also have an open
  18.   mailing list for all topics related to FX Uucico and FX Uucp. See the
  19.   SUPPORT.DOC file for complete info.

  21.   FX files may be obtained in two ways: via email or by anonymous ftp.
  22.   Email file requests should be sent to fx-dist@uufx.net In the body
  23.   of the message, issue the command 'get index' for a list of available
  24.   files. To get files via Internet, ftp to ftp.uufx.net and log in as
  25.   ftp _or_ anonymous. Supply your full email address when asked for a
  26.   password. ex: fxuser@somesite.com. The files are located in /pub/fx
  27.   See 00-index for a brief file description.
