  2. last several years a controversy has been
  3. building over the use of self-esteem
  4. curricula in our schools. Educators claim
  5. that these programs encourage creativity,
  6. increase concentration, decrease drug use,
  7. and delay sexual activity. These so-called
  8. life skills programs are being used in
  9. gifted, sex-ed, drug-ed, and regular
  10. classrooms, in public and private schools.
