  1.                            DOOM I - LA FEMME

  4. FIRST OPTION - This way will make permanent changes to your Doom.wad file.
  5.  
  6.   These replacement graphics were created to be used with DOOM I ver 1.666.
  7.  
  8.   I used NeoPaint to play with the images and Graphics workshop for DOS 
  9.   and Graphics workshop for windows for clipping.  The face icon itself
  10.   was clipped from a file called faerie.gif, author unkown.
  11.  
  12.   First place all of the GIF files in your doom directory along with 
  13.   DMGRAPH.EXE and LA_FEMME.BAT.
  14.  
  15.   While logged into your doom directory type "LA_FEMME" and press <ENTER>.
  16.  
  17.   This will change your DOOM.WAD file, so be sure to save a copy of your
  18.   original DOOM.WAD.
  19.  
  20.   Doom La femme will replace the icon of that ugly marine into a nice
  21.   replacement for women doomers.  
  22.  
  23.   You can delete the new?????.gif files after you have executed the 
  24.   instructions outlined above.

  26. SECOND OPTION - For Doom I.

  28.   Place the Makeover.wad file in the same directory as your doom.wad file.
  29.  
  30.   To play doom type         DOOM -file makeover.wad
  31.  
  32.   That's it.

  34. SECOND OPTION - For Doom II.
  35.  
  36.   Place the Makeovr2.wad file in the same directory as your doom2.wad file.

  38.   To play doom type         DOOM2 -file makeovr2.wad

  44. the new icons and also intend to go on to change additional characters 
  45. and things in the doom family of evil little imps and accessories.

  57.    he writes a version for DOOM II soon.
