Index
The Index menu is a online cross reference of units, tech and
city improvements. What each need to make each other can be found here.
It is strongly advised that you use this menu when you are a newbie to
the game! Both city improvements and new type of military units can
only be built if the proper fields of advancement have been studied.

Cities
Cities are the keys to the game. They allow you to build new units, learn
new technologies and bring in ore and coin to build and buy with. Choosing
a site for a city should be considered based on the type of city you wish
to have. To build fast make sure to settle by lots of mountain. To grow
in size and population so you can bring in vast taxes build in wide open
areas so more farms and roads can be built to increase harvest and trade.
To be able to build ships the city must contact water. Let it be known that
port cities can be attacked by ships. Be sure to fortify units in your
cities, for undefended cities only have to be entered to be taken by other
Nations.

Combat
Combat is clean quick and dirty! Combat is performed by ratios. After
the odds are figured then a out come is decided by a random roll. Now
let me explain the random. I hate random outcomes so I have built combat
in such a way that weaker units are just that, weaker unit. Say a
spearmen unit attacks a Armor unit. The spearmen attack at 2 and the
armor defend at 8 and are fortified witch adds 2. A roll is made
for the attacker at 1 to 2 and a roll is made for the defender
at ( 1 to 8 ) + 2. The rolls are compared and the winner is the one
with the highest roll, as you can see the stronger unit well
always have the advantage. If the spearmen were vets then they would gain
a +2 and have a chance of destroying the armored.
Unit to Unit Combat:
To attack a unit simple move on top of it. The combat well be performed
and the winner remains. Stacked units are attacked one at a time. The
only time multiply units can be killed is if the are being transported.
If a transport dies all units in it die to.
P:
Unit to City Combat:
If a city is defended each unit in the city must be destroyed one at a
time. Then the city may be entered and added to your Nation. If a city
has walls built then the defenders gain a bonus to their defence rolls.
