  4.                             UPGRADE-C to K3BC SSTV

  8.           This  revision  includes fixes for bugs that  crept  into  the 
  9.  
  10.      previous  upgrade plus adds the following major new additions.  The 
  11.  
  12.      paragraph  headings in TVINFO.TXT where each of these is  discussed 
  13.  
  14.      is listed in parenthesis at end of each item below.

  16.           (1) Capability to save pictures not only from RT.BAS, but also 
  17.  
  18.      from  SLIDESHO  and it's companion TRUSHO was added so pix  can  be  
  19.  
  20.      saved directly in either full or compressed format. This is  useful 
  21.  
  22.      particularly in the Automatic + Save mode. [RT, SLIDESHO, TRUSHO]
  23.  
  24.           (2) Added a new program to create 3D picture files in the SSTV 
  25.  
  26.      format. Uses "two camera"  approach. Can use  camcorder to  capture 
  27.  
  28.      double pictures in the field for later reduction to 3D files. Has a 
  29.  
  30.      limited synthetic 3D capability. [3D]

  32.           (3)  Expanded  TRUSHO  so it covers  the  ATI  TRUCOLOR  card. 
  33.  
  34.      Changes made may also work with other TRUCOLOR cards.
  35.  
  36.           (4) Added a "heartbeat" visual cue that can be used in lieu of 
  37.  
  38.      the tone-tick audio cue.
  39.  
  40.           (5)  Added a completely new DX and high resolution mode,  Mode 
  41.  
  42.      96. Users of our system are urged NOT to transmit this mode on SSTV
  43.  
  44.      frequency 14230 until it is more widely available. [NEW MODE]
  45.  
  46.           (6) Added a new paragraph, USER ADDED FEATURES, which will  be 
  47.  
  48.      expanded in future revisions. Ideas for function key use from  KY1S
  49.  
  50.      and AA7AU to facilitate TXMIT/RECEIVE operation were incorporated.
  51.  
  52.           (7) Added a fix for some few computers which had  intermittent 
  53.  
  54.      operation with the transmit function. [VT]

  56.           Please  remember  when  you incorporate the  new  revision  to 
  57.  
  58.      transfer all of your SYSTEM CONFIGURATION values to the new copy of 
  59.  
  60.      the programs.
