  99. The MicroFox Utilities are a shareware program.  This evaluation version
  100. includes all features of the program, and is not crippled in any way.
  101. You may use it for up to 30 days, without charge (see SEE.DOC for more
  102. details).  If you like the program, and wish to continue its use after
  103. this evaluation period, you are required to pay for the program (see
  104. REGISTER.DOC for more details).  Any fee you may have paid to others
  105. (disk vendors, dealers, etc.) to obtain this evaluation version was a
  106. fee for their copying and distribution services, rather than a payment
  107. for continued use of the program.

  131. ===== Installation =====================================

  133. The installation procedure for the MicroFox Utilities is quite simple.
  134. The package includes a program, "INSTALL.EXE", which automates the
  135. entire process. You will need about 128K of available disk space on the
  136. hard drive on which you plan to install the MicroFox Utilities.
  137.  
  138. The exact steps you need to take will depend on how you received the
  139. MicroFox Utilties.
  140.  
  141.  
  142. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES
  143.  
  144. To install from diskette(s), you need to perform the following steps.
  145.  
  146.    o  Place the MicroFox Utilites distribution diskette in the
  147.       appropriate diskette drive.
  148.  
  149.    o  Execute the "INSTALL.EXE" program on the distribution diskette.
  150.       For example, if the distribution diskette is on drive A:, type
  151.       the MS-DOS command, "a:install".
  152.  
  153.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program.
  154.       You will have a chance to approve installation before any changes
  155.       are actually made to the contents of your hard drive.  The
  156.       program will ask you for a destination directory, and will copy
  157.       the MicroFox Utility files to that directory. If you so direct it,
  158.       the installation program will install executable programs and
  159.       documentation in other directories of your choice.  It will make
  160.       no other changes; specifically, it will not modify your
  161.       autoexec.bat or config.sys files.

  164. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE
  165.  
  166. If you downloaded the MicroFox Utilties from a BBS (or received it in
  167. the form of archive files from some other source), you will need to
  168. perform the following steps.
  169.  
  170.    o  Extract the contents of the archive file(s) in a temporary
  171.       directory on your hard drive.  The procedure for doing this
  172.       varies, depending on the form in which you received the package.
  173.       In all likelihood, the fact that you are reading this text means
  174.       that you already have the necessary tools and knowledge to
  175.       perform this step.  If not, you should be able to obtain
  176.       directions for this from the same source from which you received
  177.       the package.
  178.  
  179.    o  Execute the "INSTALL.EXE" program which you have extracted.  For
  180.       example, if the temporary directory into which you have extracted
  181.       the SEE package is C:\TEMPDIR, you would execute the MS-DOS
  182.       command, "c:\tempdir\install".

  203. (filename extension "doc") which have been installed.  In particular,
  204. read the file "*.DOC" files. Those document will tell you how to invoke

  247. MicroFox Company grants you a limited license to use this software
  248. for evaluation purposes for a period not to exceed thirty days.  If you
  249. continue using this software after the thirty-day evaluation period,
