  1. Under popular demand, I am uploading the tar utility programs on Compuserve.
  2. This time, they include 2 new utilities: TARDIR AND TARSCAN.

  4. Since version 2.00, a new switch added "Z" to watch debugging messages.
  5.  
  6. Zipped file contains 4 files:

  8. TAR.EXE       - extracts the files stored with UNIX command "tar".
  9. TARDIR.EXE    - works on floppy disks as DOS command "DIR".
  10. TARSCAN.EXE   - scans floppy disks for any physical damage.
  11. READ.ME       - this file.
