NOTES ON TRANSITS.EXE INTERPRETATIONS
The interpretations in this program were written by Guy Straley of
Flat Broke Software (CompuServe 70402,1743). This file describes the
conditions under which you can modify the transit interpretation
files. These files are named:
SUN.TXT
MERCURY.TXT
VENUS.TXT
MARS.TXT
JUPITER.TXT
Each file contains all the interpretations for the major aspects of
the transiting planet (namely, the Sun in SUN.TXT) to each natal
planet. There are 5 major aspects, the conjunction, the sextile, the
square, the trine, and the opposition. There are ten natal planets
including the Sun and the Moon.
You may edit any of the .TXT files with a standard word processor or
text editor such as EDIT, the editor that comes with DOS 5.0 or DOS
6.2. See your DOS manual. You may use Word Perfect or a similar word
processor, but you must be sure to save any changes in ASCII format
(sometimes called DOS text).
There are several rules and conditions which each .TXT file must
follow. They are as follows:
1. Do NOT leave a blank line at the top of the file.
2. ALWAYS leave one and only one blank line at the end of the file.
3. The aspect must be the first line before the interpretation. Each
word must be capitalized and all other letters must be in lower case.
4. Any interpretation must be in one paragraph. Do not use more than
one paragraph and please separate interpretations with one and only
one blank line.
5. Start all lines in column 6 and do not end each line beyond column
75.
6. Use the current files as examples.
7. Do not make your interpretations over 13 lines.
