  29. ■ Updates from v3.41 to v3.42 start here:

  32. - Major speed improvements in general (Caller find in caller database,
  33.   bulletin updates, now create and use a data file for instant last 10
  34.   caller updates, as well as the systats information screen).
  35. - Caller frequency bulletin now gathers information from the CALLERS.LOG.
  36. - Last 10 bulletin creates and maintains a datafile.
  37. - SYSTATS uses the LAST10 datafile for optimum speed... If you do not wish
  38.   to use the Last10 Bulletins change the filenames to unique names which
  39.   will not be used by spitfire. LAST10 should be run before SYSTATS for
  40.   accurate results.
  41. - SFMSHARE=FALSE {Disables} SFMSHARE=TRUE {Uses Internal Routines}
  42.   Environment Toggle to turn off internal File sharing routines.
  43.   Temporary Change for LANs,... Disables internal routines in preference of
  44.   SHARE.  This line must be in your AUTOEXEC.BAT if you wish it to be used,
  45.   SFM will default to using its internal sharing routines (BCSHARE).
  46. - Hopefully the File manager will work for all LAN users that experienced
  47.   difficulties with versions prior to this release.  Please let us know.

  53. - Please run SFM.EXE /? for all the updates and additions for events, and
  54.   command line paramiters.  No events have been CHANGED, some have been
  55.   added.
  56. - New SWAP TO EMS/DISK procedures - SF-Master now shells with only 1kb of
  57.   overhead  SHEZ should load no problem now as well as other programs.
  58. - New Config Options - Swap To Disk Or EMS and Swap Path (RAM DRIVE?!)
  59. - Log Viewer totally "Re-done" - Major performance increase!!
  60. - added COPY feature in File Manager
  61. - added REMOVE feature in file manager - removes file from list, but not hdd.
  62. - update filedate to TODAY's date added.
  63. - File manager now reads CD-ROM areas in to edit descriptions, etc.  SFM will
  64.   allow you to delete files from the CD-ROM List, and edit descriptions, etc.
  65.   however, the files will not be removed from the CD-ROM (obviously)
  66. - Bug fix - New Callers of the month - ASCII (.BBS) now doesn't show locked
  67.   out and deleted callers.
  68. - File manager now supports 1024 File Areas!!!!
  69. - File manager now has a Percentage Status for COPY and MOVE.
  70. - Note - there has been some confusion about copy and move, the copy
  71.   command will COPY the file, keeping it in the original area, and
  72.   also in the new one.
  73.   The move command will move the file to the selected area, as well
  74.   as the description, etc.  The file will be removed from the SFFILES.BBS
  75.   list and the file will be deleted from that area.
  76. - Added an option to toggle if bulletins will clear the screen before they
  77.   are displayed (Spitfire CLR display code).  This option can be toggled
  78.   at the bulletin menu with command "."
  79. - Multi-Node Support TOTALLY re-written to fix all problems, and make
  80.   SFM's multi-node support easier to understand.
  81. - Minimum new caller security value added for new callers of the month.
  82.   This can be used to only make a list of new callers that have an access
  83.   level of greater then a validated level.  (after call back successful, etc)
  84. - In the file manager, files with filesizes greater then 999kb
  85.   (between 1 meg and 9.99meg) will be altered from #,###,### to ####,### to
  86.   make things fit better as files get larger.
  87. - SF-Master Password - simple low level security password for SF-Master's
  88.   Shell.  If enabled, you will be prompted for a password at the shell (when
  89.   first loaded) or after any command line paramiter leading to a shell or
  90.   menu.  All events will run without the password.  This option has been
  91.   added for sysops that may have some reason to keep house hold memebers
  92.   out of calling information files, etc.  If you don't wish to use it,
  93.   just set the password to "" (blank) and no password will be asked for.
  94. - 34-2-341.EXE has been included with SF-MASTER to upgrade your config from
  95.   verions 3.40 to v3.41.

  121.   nightly events.
  122. - Fixed monochrome changing bug. Screen changes abruptly when monochrome is
  123.   toggled on and off.
  124. - Bulletin generator working display changes for appearance when run
  125.   consecutively.
  126. - Default bulletin names are now non-spitfire names. Avoids the possiblity of
