  3. SAB Diskette Utility Version 2.7 adds a verification option to the
  4. Group Duplicate function.
  5.  
  6. The Boot Through code has been modified to handle SCSI devices.
  7. Diskettes formatted with SAB Diskette Utility will load the system
  8. from the hard drive even if they are in the A: drive during system
  9. startup.

  13. SAB Diskette Utility Version 2.6 adds the ability to copy files
  14. to a saved diskette image.  It also adds the ablility to find out
  15. how much space is available on the current diskette image.

  17. An option has been added to the Group Duplicate function to tell
  18. the system to continue to duplicate sets of diskettes until the
  19. user tells it to stop.

  21. A small fonts option has been added to the SETUP screen.  This
  22. will cause the use of the small system font in dialog boxes.
  23. This will make the dialog boxes smaller.

  27. SAB Diskette Utility Version 2.5 adds the ability to copy/delete
  28. files from a saved diskette image.

  32. SAB Diskette Utility Version 2.4 adds a setup routine to install
  33. the required files and setup a Program Manager Group.

  35. The user interface has been substantially improved.  Every dialog
  36. has a status/information bar that is mouse postition sensitive.

  38. SAB Diskette Utility Version 2.4 has been approved by the
  39. Association of Shareware Professionals (see the SHAREW.TXT file for
  40. additional information).

  44. SAB Diskette Utility Version 2.3 adds optional support for Double
  45. Space.  System diskettes may be made Double Space aware.  This means
  46. that if you have Double Space compressed drives and you boot from a
  47. Double Space aware diskette you will be able to access the
  48. information on the compressed drives.

  50. Diskette image conversion is now available.  You can read a diskette
  51. into memory and then convert to any format (360KB, 720KB, 1200KB,
  52. 1440KB, 2880KB) that has sufficient space for the data.  The
  53. conversion preserves the boot sector and any reserved sectors.

  55. Diskette browse command that shows the volume label, date and
  56. statistics for a diskette.
  57.  
  58. Open command displays browse information for diskette file images.
  59. It also supports the truncate option which tells the system to only
  60. read in allocated cylinders.

  62. The performance of the SaveAs (saving a floppy diskette image to the
  63. hard drive) function has been improved.  Support for the truncate option
  64. (which tells the system to only save allocated cylinders) has been
  65. added as well.

  67. The system does not require CTL3D.DLL.

  71. SAB Diskette Utility Version 2.2 adds support for deletion of
  72. groups of diskette images.  The user can select a group file
  73. and delete it and the associated diskette images after at
  74. least one set of diskettes has been made from the images.

  76. Support for specifying a group control file on the command line
  77. has been added.  This means that a program item can be added to
  78. a group that when pressed will automatically copy a set of diskette
  79. images to diskettes giving the user instructions on the number
  80. and type of diskettes needed and how to label each one.  The syntax
  81. for doing this is:
  82.           SABDU.EXE /@[drive:][path]filename.SDG
  83. The diskette images to be copied must be in the directory defined
  84. by drive:path.

  86. Statistics commands have been added to allow the user to display
  87. the number of functions performed since the system was installed,
  88. since the session started or since the last reset of the session
  89. statistics.

  91. Control over the interval between beeps when using the sound option
  92. has been added.

  96. SAB Diskette Utility Version 2.1 adds support for creation of
  97. groups of diskette images.  The user may create a control file
  98. that includes a description of the set of diskettes, general
  99. instructions, diskette image file names, and instructions to
  100. be displayed after each diskette image is copied to a diskette.

  102. This means that it is possible to set up a control file for an
  103. application and have the user prompted for each diskette to be
  104. inserted and instructed as to how to label each diskette.
