RANDOM QUOTE DOOR
it's
FREEWARE!
by v1.03
Scott Phillips

'PG' Productions
Hi, the Random Quote Door may be used on your BBS to display a randomly
selected quote to your users each time they return from any external program
or you may set it up to run at log on. You may freely distribute it to anyone
you like as long as it is not modified in any way and includes all the
nessasary files, which are;
-----------
QUOTE.EXE
QUOTE.DOC '3 files total
WISDOM.DAT
-----------
Anyway, it's use is as follows;
quote dorinfo1.def [optional color parmeter]
^____-(or other drop file, most are supported)
color may be magenta, red, or black and all three are printed in a white
window.
The default colors are always blue on white. To use the default don't supply
any color parameter at all.
When run on the BBS Quote annoces itself as FREEWARE, displays a randomly
selected quote in an auto-sized white window, and displays two options for
the user [A]dd a quote & [Q]uit to BBS.
Quote uses a standard ASCII text file to store it's quotes so if the need
should arise for you to do a little editing &/or deleting simply use your
favorite (ASCII) text editor to modify the contents of the WISDOM.DAT disk
file.
The WISDOM.DAT file is limited to 500 lines of 80 character text (about
40,000 bytes). You may pass a file larger than this but all lines past
the 500 limit will be ignored.
Lines are stripped of leading and trailing spaces. If a blank line is
encountered the program will keep searching until a non-blank line is
found.
Comments and suggestions are more than welcome!

Above all enjoy!
Ugly but nessasary stuff:
Use this software at your own risk as neither myself or 'PG'
Productions as a whole will accept any responsibility for any damage
or data loss caused directly or indirectly by the use of this program.
