  82. NFL Forecaster is a copyrighted shareware product; it is not freeware or
  83. public domain. You can try it before you buy it and are encouraged to
  84. give copies to others (see "License" below).  If you like it and use it
  85. after 30 days, you must register the program by submitting the
  86. registration fee to 100% Cotton Software.

  88. When you register NFL Forecaster you will receive: (1) the latest
  89. version of the program (with main-dta.nfl current as of shipping day)
  90. which does not have a request-for-registration dialog box; (2)
  91. unlimited, life-time, free (not toll-free) telephone and mail support;
  92. (3) a complete set of archive files (10 years of scores, spreads and
  93. rankings); (4) a 25-percent discount coupon toward the purchase of the
  94. annual update disk ($5.25); (5) a $2.00 coupon toward the registration
  95. of any other 100% Cotton Software product; (6) any teacher who registers

  117. need to "catch up." See the appropriate section of FCAST.DOC or on-line

  120. New to version 2.0d: (1) functions to view and print archive scores and
  121. spreads; (2) mouse support; (3) laser printer support; (4) hard drive
  122. support; (5) new registration benefits.  The following are changed from
  123. version 1.4: (1) revised to handle new 17-week NFL schedule; (2) archive
  124. files now contain scores and spreads as well as rankings; (3) prediction
  125. algorithm improved to smooth weekly fluctuations.

  127. The schedule file, schedule.nfl, is not compatible with previous
  128. versions; there are now 17 regular season NFL games instead of 18. The
  129. weekly archive files (for example, week-09.94) are not compatible with
  130. previous versions; scores and spreads are now saved as well as rankings.

  132. Certain files of the NFL Forecaster package are updated every year to
  133. keep the package current with changes in the National Football league
  134. (for example, the schedule). If you have a version that is over twelve
  135. (12) months old, contact 100% Cotton Software to ensure that you have

  156. NFL Forecaster's setup program makes NO changes to your autoexec.bat,
  157. config.sys, or win.ini files and it does not change your PATH statement
  158. (or any other environmental variable). Therefore, you can uninstall
  159. Forecaster simply by deleting the various Forecaster files.  The setup
  160. program's on-line help contains a complete list of files, their
  161. functions and locations.

  163. Setup will correctly install Forecaster from the self-extracting file
  164. (idnfl20.exe) or from the group of files (already extracted from
  165. idnfl20.exe) and from one drive and/or directory to another (that is,
  166. for example, from a:\ to c:\forecast or from c:\temp to c:\sports or
  167. from c:\forecast to c:\forecast).

  169. Do not install NFL Forecaster for DOS in the same subdirectory with NFL
  170. Forecaster for Windows!

  172. Log on to the drive containing the Forecaster files and at the DOS
  173. prompt type "setup" and press the Enter key to execute Forecaster's
  174. Setup program. A description of each step the setup program takes is
  175. contained in Setup's on-line help. At Setup's main window, press the
  176. Help button.

  178. Run Forecaster by logging into the Forecaster directory and typing
  179. "fcast" at the DOS prompt.

  228. is no possibility of it being used at one location while it is being
  229. used at another location (just as a book cannot be read by two persons
  230. at the same time at two different locations). If more than one copy of
  231. NFL Forecaster is used on more than one computer at the same time, each
  232. copy of NFL Forecaster must be individually registered or a special
  233. license must be obtained. Reduced-cost site, multiple-copy and school
