  7. UNPACKING ARCHIVE
  8. -----------------
  9. Simply type "install", and it will proceed automatically.
  10. THE ARCHIVE IS NOT DELETED. If you've got the space, keep it around
  11. so you can send the game to other people... otherwise, delete
  12. NAH115.ZIP.

  15. DIRECTORY SETUP
  16. ---------------
  17. This should all be automatically done when the archive is unpacked,
  18. but just in case something went wrong....

  20. The MON.* files should be in a subdirectory of the Nahlakh directory
  21. called MONSTERS. Everything else should be in the Nahlakh directory.

  24. DIGITIZED SOUND
  25. ---------------
  26. To be safe, use the CT-VOICE.DRV file that came with your soundcard.
  27. Copy it to the Nahlakh directory. I included my CT-VOICE.DRV file,
  28. but it may not work with your soundcard. If the game drops out
  29. to the DOS prompt after saying "Restored.", your card needs a
  30. different driver.

  32. If you have a Soundblaster Pro, you _will_ need to copy your CT-VOICE.DRV
  33. file to the Nahlakh directory. I know that mine will not work.

  35. If you have some backwardly-compatible sound card (like a PAS or something
  36. similar), I'm not sure if the sound will work. If you've tried it and
  37. it does or doesn't, PLEASE mail me with the details so I can either
  38. try and get it to work or help other people out. Thanks!
