  2.                  HOW TO PLAY LACE MULTIMEDIA FILES.

  4. EQUIPMENT:  First of all, it is recommended that you have at
  5. least a 486 machine with 4 meg of Ram and a video card with 256
  6. Colors. You will also need a sound card in order to listen to the
  7. accompanying music and obviously you need Windows 3.1.
  8.  
  9. LACE MULTIMEDIA FILES:  The Lace Multimedia Files are produced so
  10. that you can see a variety of images of the talent from their
  11. photo shoot, set to music.  LACE offers two different versions of
  12. any photo shoot; a 60 second version and a 30 second version.
  13.  
  14. The 60 second version will contain approximately 12 images of the
  15. talent during their photo shoot.  The images are arranged in
  16. sequential order.  The 30 second version usually will be about
  17. 1/2 of the images from the 60 version.

  19. HOW TO PLAY THEM:  The Lace Multimedia Files, after they are
  20. unzipped will have a ".AWM" extension after them.  They may only
  21. be played with this Player Program.

  23. For ease of use, we are going to give you the following
  24. instructions so that you may set up an icon to play them in
  25. Windows.
  26.  
  27. 1.  Make sure that you are in Windows Program Manager.  Click on
  28. FILE, the NEW.  A New Program Object will open and allow you to
  29. create a Program Group.  Make sure the Program Group is selected.
  30. Click OK.

  32. 2.  In the Description Box, type LACE MULTIMEDIA, then hit OK.

  34. 3.  Now with the LACE MULTIMEDIA box open, click on FILE, again,
  35. then on NEW.  Now the New Program object box will open again, but
  36. this time, you want to create a Program Item.  So Click on OK.

  38. 4.  The Program item Properties box has opened.  Click on Browse
  39. and go to the drive and directory where you have installed the
  40. Player Program.  Click on AWPA.EXE so that it appears in the
  41. Command Line.  When it does, click ok.  The Player Icon will now
  42. appear with the word AWPA underneath.

  44. 5.  To play an AWM file, go to the directory where they are
  45. located.  Highlight the file and then use the insert movie
  46. command so that it appears on the play list.  Click on Play and
  47. enjoy the show.

  49. 6.  To read the text on the bottom of the last screen, just click
  50. on the Maximize Button.
