  1. Installation of Financial Freedom (R)
  2. Windows Money Management Software
  3.

  5. NOTE:  This program requires installation to a hard-drive and
  6. cannot be ran directly from a CD-ROM or disk. It can be INSTALLED
  7. from a CD-ROM or disk, but cannot RUN from the CD-ROM or disk as 
  8. supplied. THE SUPPLIED FILES ARE IN COMPRESSED FORMAT AND MUST
  9. BE UNCOMPRESSED USING THE INSTALL.EXE PROGRAM.  Microsoft Windows 
  10. version 3.0 or higher is also required.  When distributing these
  11. files, INSTALL.EXE and FFWIN.001 must be unaltered.

  14. Installation:
  15. -------------
  16.         The file INSTALL.EXE will extract the FFWIN.001 file
  17. and must be ran using Microsoft Windows (TM).  It may be 
  18. installed from a floppy disk, CD-ROM or hard drive. The program 
  19. will prompt you for the installation drive and the directory 
  20. name you wish to install the files to.  Once the files have been 
  21. installed, a program group called "Financial Freedom" will be 
  22. created and the icons required to use the program will be placed 
  23. there.

  25.         Using Windows Program Manager, pull down the FILE menu and
  26. select the RUN option.  Then enter A:INSTALL and select OK. 
  27. NOTE: The example above assumes you will be installing from your
  28. A: drive.  If you are installing from another drive, you would
  29. enter the command as B:INSTALL, C:INSTALL, etc.  The install
  30. program will then be loaded and the welcome screen will appear.

  32.         The Users Manual will be included as a program icon during
  33. the installation process.  If you wish to have a hard-copy manual,
  34. simply print out the document, otherwise, you can review the online
  35. manual in it's supplied Windows Write format.

  37.         We have designed Financial Freedom to be EASY TO USE! With
  38. the online help features, you may never need to look at the manual.
