  105. EZ-Tree is a shareware program.  This evaluation version includes all
  106. features of the program, and is not crippled in any way.  You may use it
  107. for up to 30 days, without charge (see EZT.DOC for more details).  If
  108. you like the program, and wish to continue its use after this evaluation
  109. period, you are required to pay for the program (see REGISTER.DOC for
  110. more details).  Any fee you may have paid to others (disk vendors,
  111. dealers, etc.) to obtain this evaluation version was a fee for their

  137. ===== Installation =====================================

  139. The installation procedure for EZ-Tree is quite simple.  The package
  140. includes a program, "INSTALL.EXE", which automates the entire process.
  141. You will need about 300K of available disk space on the hard drive on
  142. which you plan to install EZ-Tree.
  143.  
  144. The exact steps you need to take will depend on how you received
  145. EZ-Tree.
  146.  
  147.  
  148. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES
  149.  
  150. To install from diskette(s), you need to perform the following steps.
  151.  
  152.    o  Place the EZ-Tree distribution diskette in the appropriate
  153.       diskette drive.
  154.  
  155.    o  Execute the "INSTALL.EXE" program on the distribution diskette.
  156.       For example, if the distribution diskette is on drive A:, type
  157.       the MS-DOS command, "a:install".
  158.  
  159.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program.
  160.       You will have a chance to approve installation before any changes
  161.       are actually made to the contents of your hard drive.  The program
  162.       will ask you for a destination directory, and will copy the
  163.       EZ-Tree files to that directory. If you so direct it, the
  164.       installation program will install executable programs and
  165.       documentation in other directories of your choice.  It will make
  166.       no other changes; specifically, it will not modify your
  167.       autoexec.bat or config.sys files.

  170. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE
  171.  
  172. If you downloaded EZ-Tree from a BBS (or received it in the form of
  173. archive files from some other source), you will need to perform the
  174. following steps.
  175.  
  176.    o  Extract the contents of the archive file(s) in a temporary
  177.       directory on your hard drive.  The procedure for doing this
  178.       varies, depending on the form in which you received the package.
  179.       In all likelihood, the fact that you are reading this text means
  180.       that you already have the necessary tools and knowledge to
  181.       perform this step.  If not, you should be able to obtain
  182.       directions for this from the same source from which you received
  183.       the package.

  185.    o  Execute the "INSTALL.EXE" program which you have extracted.  For
  186.       example, if the temporary directory into which you have extracted
  187.       the EZ-Tree package is C:\TEMPDIR, you would execute the MS-DOS
