  80. This package contains the program ExamineZip v1.01, by Aquila
  81. Software. This document contains only a brief description of the
  82. package and its features, along with instructions for its installation.
  83. Quite detailed documentation is included in the program's on-line help.

  85. If you've ever wished you could quickly locate certain files in your ZIP
  86. archives but couldn't find them or even specific words and information
  87. within these files, then ExamineZip is the program for you, with its
  88. ability to search ZIP archives for specific files or for text in
  89. both text and binary files within these archives using either ordinary
  90. words or GREP-like regular expressions.

  92. ExamineZip is a shareware program.  This evaluation version includes all
  93. features of the program, and is not crippled in any way.  You may use it
  94. for up to 30 days, without charge. If you like the program, and wish to
  95. continue its use after this evaluation period, you are required to pay
  96. for the program (see REGISTER.DOC for more details).  Any fee you may
  97. have paid to others (disk vendors, dealers, etc.) to obtain this

  125. The installation procedure for ExamineZip is relatively straightforward.

  127. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTE

  129. To install from diskette, you need to perform the following steps.

  131.    o  Place the diskette in the appropriate diskette drive.

  133.    o  If you want to install the program on a new directory on your
  134.       hard disk then create the directory using the MKDIR command at
  135.       the DOS prompt or using the File | Create Directory command in
  136.       the Windows File Manager.

  138.    o  Copy the files to the directory of your choice using the COPY
  139.       command at the DOS prompt or the facilities of the Windows File
  140.       Manager.

  143. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE

  145. If you downloaded ExamineZip from a BBS (or received it in the form of
  146. archive files from some other source), you will need to extract the
  147. contents of the archive file(s) into the directory of your choice on
  148. your hard drive. If you want to create a new directory for ExamineZip
  149. then use the MKDIR command at the DOS prompt or use the File | Create
  150. Directory command in the Windows File Manager.
