  1. CPCEMU v1.2 The CPC Emulator for the PC

  4. What is CPCEMU ?
  5.   CPCEMU emulates an Amstrad CPC on a PC AT. You need at least a AT 386
  6.   with VGA graphics.  The CPC ROMs are included now!
  7.

  9. Fast start :
  10.   Copy the archive CPCEMUxx.ZIP into a directory of your hard disk and
  11.   decompress it with  'PKUNZIP CPCEMUxx.ZIP' .
  12.   Then use INSTALL.BAT . Now run CPC6128.BAT to have a first look.
  13.   When questions arise, simply read the completely new documentation
  14.   CPCEMU_E.TXT. No panic, it is shorter as it seems at the first glance.
  15.   The user part ends with chapter 6.

  18. What is new compared to v1.0 ?

  21.   - The ROMs are included now. They are (c) by Amstrad.
  22.   - completely rewritten documentation. I hope it is a bit more

  33.   - sound (for PC speaker and Soundblaster)
  34.   - improved CPCTRANS with command line options, direct FDC access
  35.     to read B sides, with verify option
  36.   - new format descriptions for 22DISK (now also side B)
  37.   - make a parallel interface without soldering ! And new software.
  38.   - partial display of overscan pictures, different character sizes
  39.   - snapshots
  40.   - new set_colours without snow under OS/2.
