  1. 12-16-93                  MTEZ Signature

  3.      All you need is the  PCX/TIF file with your signature. Fax a signature
  4. to MTEZ from a fax machine. Goto VIEW and MOVE the file (no PATH). Then the
  5. file  is in the SEND directory. Use DCX2PCX (from the Dos prompt)  included
  6. with  MTEZ  to convert to a PCX file. You may need to EDIT the  result,  to
  7. look  better.  Put the file in MTEZ's FAX subdirectoy. Then  just  put  the
  8. filename in Configure Expressfax menu under signature.

  10.      You  can change the salutation in the  TPL file of the cover  you  are
  11. using. Use an ASCII editor to edit this file. If you are using the DELIVERY
  12. cover, then edit the DELIVERY.TPL file.
  13.      To  make a whole NEW template, copy the .TPL and .INC files (that  are
  14. closest  to  what you want) to your NEW name .TPL .INC.  Then  edit  those.
  15. They will appear in the list for you to choose, once they exist.

  17.      You may have to manupulate the graphic to get the size you like on the
  18. fax. The program I use to do graphics is Paintshow Plus, which happened  to
  19. be  included with the Logitech handscanner (which I used to scan  and  edit
  20. the  signature  file  on this fax). This has a PCX  to  TIF  converter  for
  21. editing.  There  is  a program (shareware) available on  many  BBSs  called
  22. Graphics Workshop (GWS) which will convert between 'most' graphic  formats,
  23. so you can take your graphic file and make a TIF for MTEZ.
