  2.      Rec'vd  faxes are graphics, so require a graphics capable  printer  to
  3. print  the  fax.  The most common are Epson / IBM Proprinter  or  HP  Laser
  4. compatible  printers. Try those first, then try any others on the  list  in
  5. your  setup screen. If you have a graphics printer, but none of them  work,
  6. the software Mfr (not Zoom) may have a new driver that will work.

  8.      You  can usually re-send rec'vd faxes just as they are.  Rec'vd  faxes
  9. may  need to be converted to standard (Tif or Pcx) graphics  format  before
  10. you  can  'use them'. The fax software should have  a  conversion  facility
  11. included.

  13.    To EDIT a rec'vd fax use a PAINT program after they have been converted.
  14. An OCR  program may convert graphic-text to ASCII for your word processor.

  16.   To send graphics you need to use a driver which captures  graphic/printer
  17. output.  Something like Printcap (Bitfax) or Popprint (MTEZ). All  Dos  fax
  18. software has some kind of Capture program. Windows fax software prints like
  19. a  printer  driver  from your application. The  graphics  capture  programs
  20. generally  require you set Epson 9-pin driver (some will use HP  laser)  in
  21. your  application software. You will be printing to an 'imaginary'  printer
  22. when  the capture programs is working. You cannot at this point  send  grey
  23. scale  graphics. If you are going computer-computer, then just use  a  file
  24. transfer.
